We are a Voluntary Athletics Club based in Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry, that train 23 athletes; adults and children of all ages (ranging from 8-65 years of age) that have an intellectual disability.
In order for our athletes to compete nationally they need to train on a running track and it would be of huge benefit to them having one in Cahersiveen as we currently have to travel to prepare for competitions.
We are currently fundraising to build an 8 lane running track and a climbing frame in Cahersiveen.
